Nivas K. Prasanna, born in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, is a distinguished music director and playback singer in the Tamil film industry. He began his musical journey at the age of ten, learning Carnatic music and mastering the piano. After moving to Chennai, he pursued Visual Communications at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, simultaneously exploring opportunities in film music. His debut as a composer came with the film Thegidi (2014), which received critical acclaim and earned him the Behindwoods Gold Award for Find of the Year. Following this success, he composed for films like Sethupathi (2016) and Kootathil Oruthan (2017).
